Hi! My name is Alicia and I am an Elementary Education Language Arts junior at MSU. I'm also working towards my ZA endorsement in Early Childhood Education and trying to sweeze in a few photography classes here and there (its my hobby!). I have to admit that one of my downfalls is technology, so I'm slowly learning this blog thing as I go.
I am very invested in the arts and education, more specifically learning as much as I possibly can about inspiring children to grasp onto and enjoy literature and reading. I absolutely loved TE348 and instantly realized how much more I have to learn. I come from what I would consider a very diverse educational background and plan to teach in one someday. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in 448 and getting one step closer to the classroom!

- Hi, my name is Alicia Boyers. I am 23 years old and originally from Jackson, MI. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. After working in elementary school classrooms for the majority of my college experience, I realized how crucial a child’s very first school experience is to their social and academic development. By the time many of my students reached first grade, it was apparent they should have gotten more out of their preschool years. Soon after acquiring an Early Childhood Education endorsement on my Teaching Certificate I found myself applying for the job here at Noble and making the big move to Chicago! I am dedicated to making sure that together we provide a positive first school experience for each and every unique child, and that they leave ready and excited to take on Kindergarten!
